A lodge is place which provides temporary accommodation at a reasonable cost and without the luxurious service popular in hotels. At present, the room booking and management of Government operated Lodges in East Siang District are being carried out manually and through phone calls and email correspondences. In the existing manual system, it is difficult to predict room usage, detect duplicate allocation of same room to multiple guests and has many underutilized rooms due to lack of online room booking service.
The proposed Mobile App (gLodge) will provide an efficient and paperless solution for managing and monitoring of various resources, services and revenue collections of Circuit Houses, Inspection Banglow, Tourist Lodges etc. The App will enable online booking of rooms in government operated Circuit Houses, Inspection Banglows, Guest Houses, Tourist Lodges situated in different parts of the District.
